I was asked by author Craig Phoenix to design the cover for his first book, Soulshadow. He had a very clear picture in his mind of what he wanted, but at the same time wasn’t sure how to convey that idea across. We sat together at the computer playing with images and layers and effects, just to see what looked best.
It was a very experimental process just playing with ideas, turning things on and off and playing with different layer options.
Following on from that we collaborated on the rest of his books, the most recent being Toby at Thyme Cottage.
